you turn on his music and start hearing a unique rhyming style with cartoon chops and punchlines. he has a unique identity before and after you listen to his music. rappers have had many alter ego gimmicks, but you never saw anyone with a marvel villain persona until DOOM.

so when Logic comes and does the same, it's just a flop because we all know DOOM as an icon already. This "Doc Destruction" image doesn't hit the same way as DOOM's, all you really feel from seeing him revealed is that he's DOOM's long-lost relative or some shoe-horned bullshit like that. not to mention DOOM didn't get a fabricated fanbase from the day he started.
