6ix is fine but with all those goated features I expected some producers as well

It's KTT, hating Logic is just a thing on here. Album is fine though. Raps are on point, beats are dope, features came through. Like you said just way too long.

i don't think this is amazing or even remotely as good as NP (probably his best work) but it's not nearly as bad as this thread is making it seem. i was expecting this to be Confessions/Supermarket/YSIV level bad based on the comments here. Production is really good and Logic isn't doing anything amazing or noteworthy but it seems like he's having fun and isn't trying to do anything pretentious or outside his comfort zone - outside of a handful of poor songs. like i said earlier in the thread the whole post-NP retirement stuff really hurts the album because its in that context, and this is more like a compilation record of a hobbyist than a post-retirement return to making music. I don't think it deserves the hate even though it's still kinda unfortunate he decided to go this route instead of actually taking time off and then trying to craft another return to form down the line.

unfortunately theres a lot of weird decisions on the album like there's a ton of like 1-2 min tracks that feel like weird clips of something put into a compilation rather than finished music and that makes up like legit almost half the album's length

yeah NP is his best work imo, prior to that he only had a handful of songs i liked rather than actual bodies of work really. his early mixtape days were great though imo before his studio album run

didn't really care for LaDonda outside of the beat even though the Fantano lines are pretty amusing and also thought In My Lifetime was pretty dope...otherwise I agree with this though...2nd half gets a lot better

Quasi has a dope beat but the weird Madlib/Quas stanning is a little odd especially when he wasn't able to get Quas on the track at all lol (figured he might pop up as a surprise at the end)...and I don't really like Blackwhiteboy...beats dope but idk

yeah that on quasi + a lot of other moments on the album definitely make it feel less like an album and more like i said in another post above "hobbyist making a compilation love letter to the genre". it's very on the nose and a lot of the short self-referential type tracks bog it down

fair point for sure...I'm looking forward to another Doc D project though because I like that hip-hop nerd s*** just throwing every reference you can in the mix lol Therapy Music I mostly like for Russ's verse and feel like Logic goes a little too long but still a dope track with a dope beat

why the f*** is this 30 songs? its not bad but that long automatically diminishes its vauee. 12-14 songs would have been perfect.

Breath Control beat switch to the Mezmorised beat is so f***ing dope & the nostalgia of bumping tf outta that song smokin with the homies came right back

I will say some of the skits do help as a nice break between songs but I agree it's excessive for sure
