Looking to live in London for 2-3 months just to vibe out in the city. I’ve been before but not enough to say I’d like to live in a certain area. Main thing I’d be looking for is an up and coming art area so I can take in the culture. Preferably looking for a mid 20’s age group type of area. Obviously this will be post corona. I’ll be using AirBnB so I am pretty flexible as to where I can go.
Stay away from Peckham and Brixton. South and West London in general tbh
I grew up in Peckham and live in Brixton now, they're both now gentrified, but, Brixton more so than Peckham. Great scene there now, lots to do there. o2 academy in Brixton, nice places to eat and a great nightlife in Peckham due to the art uni students in Camberwell near Peckham.

ignore this guy who clearly knows nothing about london

southwest, southeast and northeast, northwest east london are probs the best places for young working people and students

clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. peckham and brixton becoming some of the most gentrified areas

your best bets are either shoreditch/dalston area, camden (can be full of weirdos though) or brixton
i live in battersea/clapham... clapham is buzzing but wouldn’t say it’s artsy. north/east london tend to cater more towards the hipster life

Thanks for all the responses. From what I gathered so far, a lot of people are suggesting East London.

East London is great if you’re after that artst/trendy vibe I'd look for somewhere around Zones 1-2. Quick google search should show you areas in east london within these zones
