So many amazing artists/releases without a thread on here.... decided we need a thread like this to establish a place to share new s***

In 10 years of diving deep into rap and sticking mostly with underground rap, 2021 is probably the first year where London/UK underground and experimental rap is starting to become just as exciting to me as the US scene.

It feels like there's a lot of development happening rn. King Krule's rap group Sub Luna City were cool back in the day but I never expected them (in particular members Rago Foot and Jadasea) becoming prominent figures in the underground, super glad it happened though. King Krule aka Edgar the Beatmaker aka Archy's connection with Earl and now MIKE's strengthening of bonds between the US and UK underground networks has definitely helped this.

I also see Vegyn as a crucial figure in establishing this scene, working with / producing for legend Dean Blunt/Babyfather and helping John Glacier, Jeshi (and soon Louis Culture), supporting Lord Apex for years already. People who in turn are starting to form a tight-knit network as well also including producers and rappers like Jesse James Solomon, Psychedelic Ensemble, Redlee, LYAM, Cajm, Oliver Palfreyman, Goya Gumbani and the list is constantly growing...

yeah Vegyn, King Krule and others give it a solid foundation/ access to bigger audience and there's also just maad talent in here, lots of gems dropping all through the pandemic I think next year will only be even bigger...
