He doesnt compromise his sound for the mainstream and is very conceptually based. It’s kinda crazy that people as well as critics genuinely love GKMC like that.
And it’s not his popularity because he didn’t even do arena tours until DAMN.

Eminem dropped his first album in 1996. Drake dropped his first album in 2010. That's a 14-year headstart.

Kendrick being on this list is mind blowing. Even more impressive than Drake (King Drizzy Slime) IMO

Don’t really count infinite as a project since it was released in cassette and vinyls only at the time of the release . The slim shady ep came out in 1999 and that’s when he had a major distribution deal and etc. I don’t believe infinite even charted so it doesn’t even qualify in this conversation bud.
