    Snow Tha GOAT

Debut week still shows who is bigger/most anticipated tbh

but yea overall sales shows more like kod isnt in ten best selling rap albums to date from 2020. but most of yall ignore that

    cOle BiG tHrEe

If we're being honest, if the Big 3 is really based on sales/success then it should really be the Big 1 because only Drake has consistently put up big numbers with his albums. Cole has debuted with over 300K thrice. Kendrick has done it twice. Drake on the other hand, has done it 8 times, yet they get lumped in with him when he's way more successful and consistent than them commercially.

Now, if the Big 3 is based on being the most culturally relevant from their class/generation of rappers, I'll agree with that and Cole definitely deserves a spot.

if you look at his streaming numbers he's usually top 40 or top 30 on spotify in the world for any genre.

maybe his music that's popular is more spread out instead of album focused? people might be listening to his albums more equally instead of just listening to Grad, MBDTF, dropout or pablo.

Drake has a way more vast catalog of music than Kanye and he's still managing to chart 6 albums weekly so I don't think that counts. You also can't make the argument that his music is consumed more globally than it is in the US because most US rappers have the US as their biggest fanbase.

I wouldn't even count Kendrick as Big 3 tbh. He has 1 successful album era under his belt. DAMN. is his biggest album and he's only headlined an arena tour once in his career.

Yes, he's in a high position commercially now but he doesn't have a long history of being commercially successful. TPAB had a high debut but quickly died off sales-wise. GKMC was a bit more consistent but it isn't some high-selling album either.

Kanye doesn't matter culturally. At least, not for music. We only talk about Kanye for his shenanigans outside of music these days. That isn't cultural relevance.

You just listed off a bunch of s*** that doesn't matter at all. Who gives a damn about Grammys? Nas is an all-time rap GOAT and doesn't have 1 to his name. Drake's festival run in 2015 still hasn't been matched by any rapper and I think Drake is a better, more energetic performer than Kendrick. Critical acclaim matters very little when it's little white kids who don't know s*** about rap music giving out high scores to whatever they feel is "real hip-hop".

Also, if you read my post above, you'd see I never said it was based on sales and even distinguished between sales and cultural impact.

I can agree with some of the things on this list but please take out Grammys and festivals and a couple of other things because those things don't matter at all tbh.
