Just really captures the story from an honest perspective, sad on so many levels. I do think X was genuinely making a change in his life, but I do believe he did some terrible things that could never be explained or defended.
I feel most sad for Geneva, my heart breaks for her in the whole story. The way X went out was so sad though, I still remember seeing the video of his dead body in the car when it happened and that s*** lowkey traumatized me. Got chills seeing the footage of the robbery.
I really hope Geneva finds her peace, she didn’t deserve this whirlwind she got caught up in.
Y’know I watched the lil peep doc recently and I had somehow blocked the image of his dead body out of my mind over the years, then seeing it again and remembering it all just crushed me.
Overall I thought that doc was pretty lousy and painted the label in a light that just didn’t match reality to the point that even an unfamiliar viewer could recognize it.
Sounds like this one’s better. I’ll probably watch over the weekend. I remember the day it happened my 5th grade niece was bawling crying, and it wasn’t til then that I fully realized how big of a star he had become and how big he could’ve been.
