NOTE: This one is a edit. The first verse is from a 2014 Drake leak. The beat of the leak was used on "U With Me" off views for the beat switch, but Drake rapped a completely different verse than the leak. Around the same time, Travis Scott did a song with the same beat, titled "Perfect". This leaked as well. All 3 songs (really 2 songs as Drake verses were part of same song, just one verse was cut) were edited together for this sick song.

It’s like he perfected the rapping/singing combo & the beats are so good on this project. The album flows super well too. Really really enjoy it so far. On No Tellin rn

He said in one of his lengthier interviews (I think it was the Zane Lowe interview when VIEWS dropped) that him and 40 didn’t put the same amount of time into polish and flawless transitions like they would’ve for an album. Still widely regarded as his best project, ironically. Turned me from a Stan to an Certified Ultra-Stan

He still works on every Drake album. Beats & mixing. He just stopped being the engineer who records Drake full-time cause that means he'd have to travel the world with him. Noel does the recording now
