    Titanfall 2 has one of the best FPS campaigns of last-gen, has a very Valve feel to it.

    Portal 2 is a really good one, also Prey.

    Also the multiplayer is great and still alive

    A lot of the talent who worked on mw2 helped create this game. A lot of people aren’t aware of this

    Metro, Stalker, Dishonered, Bioshock & Deus Ex are the best series' imo.

    Half Life 1 n 2 arent that impressive to me anymore especially part 1. Still good tho n of course revolutionary for its time.

    But I guess im more of a fan of the "thinking mans" shooter than the straight up ones, boomer or mainly cinematic ones.

    Dishonored ain't FPS tho

    Far cry 3 was dope but I wouldn’t recommend any of the other ones besides primal maybe

    4 is worth playing just for the map and the atmosphere despite being overall inferior to 3

    If youre on PC try Stalker series, the upcoming sequel will come out in a year or two for consoles as well
    Bioshock 1 & Infinite (2 is ass imo but you can try it as well, its 50/50 in the fandom)
    Deus Ex Human Revolution & Deus Ex 2000
    FEAR 1 (the other 2 are garbage almost no one likes them, but the og is classic)
    Oddworld Strangers Wrath
    Fallout 3, New Vegas & 4 (RPG based)
    Condemned Criminal Origins (horror & detective based FPS)
    The Darkness

    Resistance is a better Sony shooter series than Killzone but I wouldnt say either are amazing

    Why do you consider Bioshock 2 ass? I remember enjoying it less myself because the antagonist didn't impact me and playing as a big daddy makes the whole horror setting less disturbing, like... I'm a f\*\*\*ing big daddy no one gonna stop me lmao.
    It's still worth it imo.
