Hell yes it is cause the singles were a special kind of bad to me and a lot of people actually felt the exact same way

Headed to the doctors for the 4th time this week. Hoping I can listen when I get out

Let's see if the meandering nature of the second half holds up. A lot of songs feel like better versions of Stoned at the Nail Salon: she could have cut some of them, easily. But I liked it better than I expected after the lukewarm singles.

i'm feeling a 6.5/10 on this overall. some all time great lorde songs (particularly the first five songs i ranked) on here so it's not a total waste in the slightest, but this will probably go down as an awkward filler album before whatever her next masterpiece is. she clearly didn't have much to say nor did she have that many creative ideas, it very much feels like she had a few solid ideas and the rest of the album was an afterthought (like having five versions of stoned at the nail salon on here doesn't tell me she was enraptured in every single one of these songs). i prefer getting a mediocre lorde album with a few great songs over no lorde album at all though, so i'm perfectly content with this.

Should be on the upswing, really tryna focus on the positive and recovering. Thanks for the support brotha

well yeah, those are my first impressions. though i don't see the songs i don't like growing on me that much, they're just too dull and vaporous. anything can happen though, i suppose.

I listened to the whole thing and I don't even remember what most of the songs sounded like which is absolutely normal since this thing only been out for 2 hours but you got a whole ranking ? You're rushing your reaction let the album breathe for a minute

i know what the songs sound like and i ranked them based on the ones i liked the most to the ones i liked the least. they might change in the future once i've lived with the album more. i hope this helps.
