She’s subscribing to trendy newsletters and checking her finsta, which maybe helps explain the album’s bent towards Y2K vibes and wellness fads.
this is really the only thing i'm confused by in the pitchfork review. what's with a lot of people, fans and critics alike, taking issue with her comments on detachment? it's so bizarre to say that this girl is somehow fronting about her lifestyle change. because she watched and referenced a Tarantino movie? someone help...
The idea that "Once upon a time in Hollywood" isn't something you can write without having heard of the Tarantino movie is also quite, uhm, hilarious.

It's all about how her fairy tale youth in Hollywood wasn't a fairy tale at all, "once upon a time" is just a normal thing people say in that context.

It's a chill/vibey album, will be nice to throw this on to relax to. I might catch some flack for this but it reminds me of Blonde in some ways? In terms of subject matter and instrumentation. Although I'm not putting this on the level of Blonde
