This was definitely a Post-Frank release and is akin to Blonde in how she stripped everything down. A daring artistic progression which commands respects but I just don't find her voice or writing as intense or the themes of this album as idiosyncratic to warrant the soundscape it sits in.

Usually I can come back to an album after months and really have a specific outlook but Solar Power is such a baffling project to me years later. I don't know if I like it, I certainly don't hate it.

she's been through so much the last couple years, working with Dev Hynes so closely. man if Lorde is as candid on L4 as she was on this remix...

Do you like the slight autotune on her voice?

I like it because it's something different for a feature
But if she did this effect for a whole album I'd probably hate it

It's been so long since we've had new Lorde that she could have been singing through a PS5 controller mic and i'd go crazy

lorde's verse that song is one of my least favs and this remix improved it so much imo. really cool moment
