Either she's really non binary and she will appreciate their solidarity, or she's queerbaiting and this will force her to make an embarassing clarification that all this "broadening her gender" man-woman stuff was just marketing. Either outcome is good

No she didn't. It's just odd seeing popular accounts in Lorde fan circles calling her "they", people predicting that she's gonna transition, or saying s*** like "top surgery". Even last year there were a couple popular tweets in the space saying she might be on gender hormones which was causing facial acne. Let the woman live ffs

i guess it’s because ppl have been joking/predicting this for a while now (i’ve seen loads of lorde is nb comments for at least over a year) and Lorde’s recent statements in interviews about gender identity have made them feel like they actually read the situation correctly so they’re running with it without waiting for confirmation
