Also known monomynously as Lorenzo, Singer in Havana, Florida. Was active from the early to mid 90s and was at the time considered an up & coming rival to Keith Sweat . Funny in hindsight but it's not ridiculous. The man was obviously considered attractive but his gospel influenced vocal pipes and tonal power were distinctively his. Not oversanging but clearly vocally gifted, effortlessly buoyant. He could kill it on upbeat, NJS/Hip Hop styled tracks but his true strengths were his slow jam ,hypnotic ballads. Lorenzo pretty good at building his voice as if its a journey which makes him so interesting to listen.
He was under Alpha International Records(Polygram/Universal) in the early 90s before switching to Uncle Luke's record label for his 3rd and final album. Interestingly Luke Records was under the Warner Music conglomerate which Keith Sweat coincidentally was on. It's a shame considering Lorenzo had the talent to be around a lot further than he was. Had he been around longer, I could totally see him flourish on them ol skool Late 90s ATL/Miami Bass beats. He had the vocal versatility for it to thrive under. Had he been on a better label and support, he definitely would've been a bit more remembered. He had the looks, vocals, and dancing ability: a whole package.

U know it. You're more of an underground 90s R&B head than I am. I'm curious to hear your thoughts and perspectives on the man

Yeah he’s one of the goated underground singers for sure, though an insane amount of people knew about him back in the 90s.
I think physical media spread far and wide back then
