When asked about what it will take for the Lakers to make a run now that the deadline has passed, LeBron said "our whole year has been about health."
LeBron credited the Nuggets for executing down the stretch.
"They made more plays offensively than us."
Anthony Davis echoed that the Lakers need to get healthy with Gabe, Cam, Vando, DLo and now Max Christie all dealing with injuries.
AD liked the Lakers' energy tonight, however.
Anthony Davis: “I think first we just have to get healthy. I like where we are as a unit. I think it’s just overall, we have to get healthy.”
Anthony Davis on the Lakers not making any trades:
"This is our team. This is our team that we're gonna have. Once we get guys healthy hopefully we can get back into a groove."
NBA waivers are 48 hours
Dinwiddie got waived at Feb 8 at 3pm EST
He''ll available to get signed Feb 10 at 3pm EST
We've lost to them the exact same way the past 6 games we've played them.
It always comes down to what we do at the end of the game when it's close.
They know what they're doing on offense and make you pay for any mistakes. We basically have to play perfect defense and we don't have the guys for that.
Even if we had Vando, Cam, Christie, we would prob still lose this game because our offense is unorganized.
Our offense in close games is basically Lebron iso or Reaves trying to make something happen. Not sustainable.
Not enough offense sets and not enough ways to give AD the ball.
their two man game with jokic/murray is just simply better than lebron/ad down the stretch of games. they've been able to execute, get the shot they want, and make it and we haven't
Anthony Davis: “Obviously, our organization is used to championships. I think everybody in the locker room wants to win. It’s one about staying healthy but two a lot of things that we need to clean up on both ends of the floor before we begin to start talking about championships.”
Anthony Davis on the trade deadline: “I’m just glad that it’s over. It can get a little whacky around trade deadline for guys that are hearing their name.”
Anthony Davis said the Lakers front office (“RP”) will call or text him to give him a heads up before transactions. When there was no news, he figured there were no trades.
“Once you get on the floor you have to lock in on the assignment. That’s all that matters.” LeBron James speaks on being ready after the long road trip and the mindset after the trade deadline.
With limited interest in their players with multiple years left on their contracts, one option the Lakers weighed was trading Taurean Prince.
However, head coach Darvin Ham was one of the vocal supporters of retaining Prince, sources tell Jovan Buha

Here's what Darvin Ham said about Max Christie, who exited last night's game with a sprained right ankle.
“He went in for an MRI today, so we’re waiting to hear back on that. The doctors will look at him once he gets to the gym tonight. Hopefully it won't be too long. He’s 12 years old so hopefully he heals fast.”
Darvin Ham pregame on if Austin Reaves made a mistake gambling for the steal on Jokic late in last night's game:
