Darvin Ham on the status of Anthony Davis for the final two games, after his missing all but the 1st Q of the two losses was a major factor LAL couldn’t overcome:

“We’ll see how (Davis) wakes up tomorrow.”

“It’s pretty much impossible to make up for what he does for our ball club.”

Hachimura said that LAL depend upon Davis to protect the painted area as well as switch out, and they had trouble trying to stay solid on the interior and also get out to GSW’s shooters.

When Davis is in, guys feel confident contesting further out. It’s on them to adjust, but they couldn’t get it done vs. the Wolves or Warriors.

Rui Hachimura confirmed that the game plan was to let some of the Warriors role players shoot 3s and they made them tonight.

The issue is that the players have been either injured or underperforming

Not comparable to the rest of the Western conference, and with the Laker tax they know they most likely won't upgrade the roster during the season. Having a backup for AD is paramount. We need a big he can play with AD and that can play so AD can rest out we can last if he doesn't finish a game

Our guards aren't even top 5 in the West and it hurts the team because they not getting buckets consistently causing us to not hold onto leads

But Ham believes in his players
