it wasnt even the fact we loss that makes me doubt we win the series, but how we loss on top of having already lost 9 in a row. Team must be demoralized.

maybe wood and vando returning revitalizes the team, i'm holding on to optimism. lakers in 6 and im sticking to it

8:18: Murray can't be getting easy layups like that in crunch time.

8:49: MPJ should not have been that open. Rui f***ed up.

It's not only that the Nuggets know how to execute during crunch time.

Lakers have defensive lapses EVERY single time during crunch time too.

Vando might be the guy that fixes this but he's an offensive liability

Even if Vando comes back next game we can’t expect him to look like the normal Vando lol

Its gonna take him time to get into playing shape. With that said he can still maybe make an impact in short spurts

Here is where everything fell apart offensively. AD attempted 1 shot in this span and it was a forced shot against Gordon.

  • I don't watch too much NBA ball these days but Ham and Pelinka have to go obvi. Really bad player accusation and uninspiring coaching

i can’t even fathom being a head coach in the NBA and one of my superstars is having an incredible offensive game, having the team completely go away from him, and not realizing in real time that he hasn’t been getting the ball.

I would've rather have Vando than Rui out there last night so at least he gives Ham another option if Rui decides to play like a f***ing G-League scrub again

he doesn't know how to make adjustments in-game, he always does that s*** the following game

this makes me question the whole coaching staff, if ham doesnt see s***, does no one else on the staff notice and suggest adjustments?!

    It's not a coaching problem, it's a player/GM problem

Injuries happen but we don't have the personnel to maintain a game or dominate a series against actually talented team. Of course we were the hot team at the end of the season, we had a really light schedule. No matter how many 3s D'Lo hit, he's also had like 5-10 lazy passes on top of his "cool" he tries to play. AD a 3rd scoring option optimally, and a first option as the lone star on the court.

Plus, AD getting in foul trouble late in the 3rd really hurt us

Can’t remember the specific play but there was a moment when i thought it was a bang bang play and could possibly be challenged and they showed Darvin and buddy wasn’t even looking back at the staff to see if he should he was just blankly staring at the court like he was clueless

    S*** like that baffles me

    Disagree

Its clearly a coaching issue man

  • Apr 23

It was the same story last game too. The Lakers go away from sets as the game goes on and the offense dries up. We scored 40 points in the second half and several of those points were Bron heroics…it could have easily been much worse

Something significant happened that the tweet isn't reflecting. AD got in foul trouble and that adjusts the gameplan because he had to come out, and I believe Bron came in early. That's where I look at the end of the game, which is normally iso type buckets unless it's an ATO or SOB, Bron looked tired and I know these mountains in Colorado hell to breath in. Ain't no coaching gonna help AD getting in foul trouble on this Lakers team

But thats the thing…why do late game situations call for heavy iso ball? Why not run the sets that have worked all game? Lmao

It works out better in the flow of the game, and Bron is out there so Bronball will be played but I Believe the ball's better of in his hands or AR's late game and D'Lo shouldn't focus on playmaking but be able to use his game to work around Bron and AD

Also I'm not sure how the coaching staff treats the first 2 games. They might not want to make many adjustments until halftime of Game 3, or any score dependant reason. We've been close to the Nuggets damn near every time we've played them so it may seem like the problem is a small tweak

Feel like Ham and staff make solid adjustments between games but the in game or halftime adjustments seem non existent

It does and I'm not the biggest fan of Ham, I wish we could've gotten Lue but I hold that resentment towards the front office because wth were they expecting from Ham?
