I think Lakers are gearing up for dog years and essentially the focus is on developing players once Bron is retired because most of the candidates so far are development player coaches but they’re experienced. A recent report came out that the Lakers would select Bronny with a 2nd round pick and everyone knows(or we don’t) Bronny would need development

Because the draft is banking on potential essentially. If I was in that position on banking on potential between the players in the draft, I’m going Bronny over a player that has potential as well but there’s levels to potential & would that other player be as marketable as Bronny. This would be a slam dunk for the Lakers for the whole brand

I have a feeling Hayes, and Reddish opt in. I think we could upgrade them. Watching harvenstein play on Knicks, I’m convinced Hayes could be good with a real coach. Wiseman instant starter and we have big starting forwards with two athletic backups. We actually develop Max. We are stuck with Vincent.

The key would be trading DLo for a real PG/ someone who can shoot and play defense…
