JJ Redick on the Lakers' physicality in Game 2:

"We were very physical tonight, as were they... Playoffs require a different level and like I said pregame, it took us about 2.5 quarters in Game 1 to get to that level of physicality."

JJ Redick: "I think it's fair to say we won the game with our defense tonight."

JJ Redick says Rui Hachimura is probably in the X-ray room right now after getting hit in the face. Redick called him a "warrior" though and said he was "awesome" tonight.

JJ Redick feels the mentality of both teams is to turn this series into a "rock fight."

Austin Reaves feels the difference tonight was the Lakers just "played harder" than they did in Game 1.
"Emphasis going into the night was the play hard."

JJ Redick said him flipping out on the team during the timeout was "about getting that urgency button switched back on" and he has done something similar a few times this season.

"We've done it multiple times this year...The one thing that you can always go back to is to compete as hard as you possibly can every possession...We're comfortable with having to play like that."

Austin Reaves on Game 1: “They basically punked us.” He said the Lakers’ confidence as a team wasn’t shaken though. They just resolved to play harder.

Luka Doncic says the Lakers didn't change their game plan defensively, they just played more physical and maintained it for 48 minutes.

Luka Doncic: "Me and Bron, the leaders of the team, know we gotta keep the team together. Going into Minnesota will be a war. The fans are going to be cheering like crazy … We can’t panic"

LeBron on JJ Redick's angry timeout:

I like how JJ is directly looking at Rui when he's yelling. Rui was pissing me off alot this game.

It would suck to lose to them again. There’s really no reason if we show up to play.
