JJ Redick noted how much 2-man action they ran for and through LeBron and Luka these last few games, and how well it’s been working, especially late in games:
“There’s some real synergy now, and it’s fun to watch.”
JJ Redick compared LeBron James to Greg Maddux at the end of his career.
"He doesn't always have his best stuff, but he has enough to win."
Man, shout out the goat
JJ Reddick: To me, what he's doing at 41 and what he did last year at 40, it's greatness. It's just a different form of greatness."
JJ Redick on Luka's crazy shot:
"We were just joking about it because we both said to each other, as soon as he shot it, I knew it was going in and he was just like 'Yeah, so did I.'
And then he's like 'I just can't make a normal shot right now!' But the thing I love about him, he's always hard on himself and he takes accountability for that.
He had 30 and 10 tonight and shot 50% from the field and felt like he could've played better.
That's just how he's wired."
LeBron on people saying Luka needs to bend his game to fit with him and the rest of the Lakers:
"Luka don't need to bend his game. Luka is what, 27? He's our 27-year-old franchise for this ballclub.
He don't need to bend his game. It's up to us to bend our game around him and figure it out.
We're just trying to be dynamic and work off of him.
He's an unbelievable pick-and-roll player, unbelievable shotmaker, commands the defense, four eyes, sometimes six eyes on him.
So it's up to us to put ourselves in the right position.
It's not a problem for me.
It's not an issue for me to be able to do those things... I don't know, I just don't think people watch basketball."
the fact i'm still going to watch the game
the fact i'm still going to watch the game
We're gonna have to go with a Luka x Smart x Vando x Laravia x Ayton lineup
That lineup has a -17.9 net rating in 60 possessions
It can get ugly if no one is able score or hit a 3
Bron obviously didn’t think Adam Silver would schedule back to backs because he’s 41 year old. Poor guy

lazy f***
stat pads against the worst team in the nba and ducks a contender
we're the worst playoff team in the west
we're beyond cooked
what'd you expect from this team going into the season lol
Luka Doncic says that he was "proud" of how everyone competed tonight considering how many guys they were missing
JJ Redick says Jake LaRavia and Jaxson Hayes have "stacked multiple good games in a row" for the Lakers and that is "exciting" for the head coach thinking about what this team can be when they get whole.
What you guys think about this trade
Dalton Knecht F/G for G AJ Johnson Wizards and 2nd round pick
Reasoning: Knecht is the dog house here and I wonder if he will ever have a role here. We have too many bad defenders so idk if this is the team for him. I could Knecht could be a useful for a team. AJ Johnson could be expandable in now a crowded backcourt in Washington. Wizards now have Young, Tre Johnson, George, Carrington as their 2 deep guard. Knecht could replace Corey Kispert. AJ Johnson is a former 1st rounder who is talented and 21 years old. He could emerge as a starting guard in a year or 2 of development. He’s 6’5 6’9 wingspan and A level athlete, who can shoot, and has skills with the ball. With that wingspan and athletic ability he could be our Max Christie replacement with a little development. He actually has potential to be better. Knecht is prolly better now, but AJ Johnson has a higher ceiling if he booms. He’s also from Fresno. Worth a shot. We could use another defensive guard like Max. Thoughts ?

rob should be looking for any deal along the margins including dalton and our second rounder because its clear he doesnt fit future plans
Lakers get
Nic Claxton
Ziaire Williams
Haywood Highsmith
Nets get
Rui Hachimura
Gabe Vincent
Deandre Ayton
first round pick
Ziaire Williams is a cheap, athletic wing.
Highsmith is injured right now but if healthy, he can be a pretty good 3 and D wing. He's also an expiring so it doesn't f*** up our future flexibility.
Luka gets his ideal center instead of Ayton.
Tried this trade in a trade machine and the money works.
You think Rob would pull a trigger on a trade like this even if it costs a first round pick? Would yall do this trade? @YoungFashioned @Ye24 @Camille
