They doing Dennis dirty just to start Westbrook. Would love to get rid of Gabe for another run
there's actually a two way wing that we could get for just one first round pick
and it's Miles Bridges
He's making $25 million this year and $22 million next year so he's on a good contract.
He's inconsistent from 3 and doesn't shoot a high percentage but stats show he's a really good catch-and-shoot shooter, especially on corner threes.
His defensive numbers don't look that good and are pretty inconsistent since Charlie Lee uses him to guard the paint but he's versatile (can guard 1-4) and can keep guys in front of him.
I know his past on court issues were a problem but at the end of the day, we got Jaxson Hayes on our roster for the same thing.
Pelinka f***ed over Hornet by rescinding that Knecht x Williams trade so they might not want to trade with the Lakers.
But setting aside the oncourt issues and assuming that the Hornets are over the trade (and can still get Knecht), Would yall make this trade?
@YoungFashioned
nope, not the type of player i want on this team.

I would get him too if he came in a package with Keon Ellis
Lakers get:
Dennis Schroder
Keon Ellis
Kings get:
Gabe Vincent,
Dalton Knecht
and a second round pick
The money works. The only problem is that Dennis will make make $14 million next year and the year after, which hurts financially flexibility.
This is also in the best interest in the Kings since they probably want to offload Dennis and rebuild. But they might get a better offer than this.
They're also the Kings so they're gonna most likely just gonna do some stupid s***.

Dennis getting old and not as good⦠I feel like Vincent for Dennis isnāt an upgrade, pretty much the same tier⦠Keon Ellis is already decent defender and thatās about it. Hes 27. Not really a ceiling. Heās like a worst Marcus smart. Iāll rather trade for potential

Dennis is much better and more consistent than Gabe. I wouldn't put them in the same tier.
but you can just get Malik Monk instead of Dennis and trade Rui Hachimura.
Lakers get:
Malik Monk
Keon Ellis
Kings get:
Rui Hachimura
Dalton Knecht
a second round pick
As long as Keon Ellis is in a trade package and you're willing to lose some financial flexibility, it doesn't matter which package it is.
Keon Ellis can shoot, hustles hard, and applies ball pressure. He's the type of player that the Lakers need.
"Doncic and Schroder jawed at each other during various points of the Kings' 125-101 loss.
During a timeout, Doncic taunted Schroder, telling him he "should've signed that contract" in reference to the four-year, $82 million extension Schroder declined from the Lakers a few years ago.
Things appeared to cool off as the game ended.
But Schroder left the visitors locker room at Crypto.com Arena, spotted Doncic and tempers flared again inside the tunnel across from the home bench."

"Forty minutes after the buzzer, Schroder went after Doncic, telling Doncic that he can't call him a "b----" on the court and pretend everything is fine off the court.
The NBA concluded that Schroder attempted to strike Doncic.
Lakers center Deandre Ayton tried to drag away Schroder from the confrontation while a stunned Doncic attempted to exit as security intervened.
Schroder was eventually escorted to the team bus as Kings coach Doug Christie and several teammates sought answers about the sudden drama.
Doncic and his father, SaŔa, eventually walked to their nearby car and left, as Schroder and his Kings teammates prepared to leave on the team bus."

I donāt blame Dennis. Whack of Luka to talk about his money like that
Ayton is another guy who isn't excited playing with Lebron... he was fine with Luka and Reaves.... looks like center might have to be our first round pick instead of best player. sucks, because Ayton can be good. there just into chemistry. he was playing close to all star level before Lebron came back. He's young too

Iām not doing that⦠we would lose a lot of size and our forward depth. Lebron can go down at any time then our season is done. We get two midget guards. Monk would be a spot up shooter here and another guy who doesnāt play defense. Ellis could be a solid backup 2 guard. Smart is better and would play over him
we were favored by 10 lol
Glad i missed the game last night. This team disgusts me
