I like him too. I wouldn't be mad if they picked him.

but the problem he's skinny and his defense isn't the best even though he improved recently. I don't think he'll be able to guard NBA wings anytime soon.

So will the Lakers actually take the time to let him develop even though we're in win now mode?

If the Lakers want the player that can make an immediate impact, they will go with Joshua Jefferson. He's also the type of pick Tony Bennet, Lakers draft advisor, would choose.

If the Lakers want to address their biggest need and add something new to the offense in a stretch 5, they will go with Henri Veesaar.

If the Lakers want to invest in a 3 & D prospect, then they will go with Isaiah Evans. JJ also already said he wants players that can shoot, pass, dribble and Isaiah fits that mold.

They can go in so many directions with this pick.

Isaiah isn’t even better than Knecht. Was hoping he stayed another year to work on becoming a more consistent shooter

yea his inconsistent shooting and the defense turned me off when I first watched him

I was thinking this could end up like the Knecht situation all over again if he dont pan out

  • Ye24

I think Adou will pan out into a solid role player he just needs more reps

I'm watching tape of guys that we can use on a two way contract and I'm liking alot of them.

Even if they somehow miss on the 25th pick, there's still talent that they can develop on the two contract or exhibit deal.

The guys that I want on a two way are good point of attack defenders that can shoot. Guys that have the "dog mentality" and fit around around Luka.

I'm tired of Rob getting one way players that wont even make the main roster like Quincy Olivari, Cole Swider, , Blake Hinson, Chris Manon.

Even when Rob does hit, Lakers just let them go to another team because the coach didn't give them a chance like Scotty Pippen Jr and Jay Huff.

JJ, Rob, Tony Bennett need to be aligned. When guys get injured, maybe play the two ways more to get some real NBA experience.

I'm praying for a 3&D player on the two way contract this time.

I'll even take the athletic defensive minded guard with a developing shot then the scoring guard/forward that can't defend.

  • My tier list of the best 3 &D players that we can put on a two way contract is coming soon yall

  • Saturn

I hope we keep that pick and buy a top 10 pick in the top of the 2nd….i see our depth

    F- Rui, Theiro
    F- Luka, Kennard
    G- Smart, ?
    G- Reaves,

I could see another 3/D wing who can play backup SG.. another playmaking guard for the bench unit. Or another center…3 different directions we can go… Evans could slide into that backup SG spot…. Wouldn’t be mad at that… there’s a few interesting centers too

if Rob buys a pick in the second round, then this is the guy they should get.

Highly athletic, high-energy "rim runner" who specializes in blocking shots, grabbing rebounds, and finishing dunks or alley-oops on offense (lob threat).

I like this guy more than some of the guys at 25th

He's projected to go in late second round (picks 48–54)

    Felix Okpara

  • Lakers should draft guys that will fit around Luka and fit what JJ wants to do. Same thing with free agency + trades

switchable 3&D guys + athletic lob threats who can defend

  • Shamet could be a great replacement for Kennard and cheaper. Not the same level shooter, but more willing to get attempts up and is a way more physical defender despite his size

  • We letting Kennard go… that sucks

If Kel’el Ware is really worth a first round pick, then the Lakers should try to get him

Without Luke and Austin, we lose first round against the Rockets. I just fail to see Jake’s value, this nigga has literally done nothing his whole career.

    Pay Luke.

the team has more pressing needs than tying up 15+ mill on luke kennard. you can find better value for cheaper like i said, someone like shamet.

luke's about to get paid for his playoff performance except we don't need nor will he be that version with luka and reaves (he already wasnt with just bron and reaves)

  • Ye24

will lose my s*** if rob signs him unless its a one year deal and thats not happening

sign rob will, trade for a center, or draft one. those the only options

    do not sign mitch robinson

caught the last minutes of the game

and that was one of the craziest meltdown I've ever seen lmaoo

Must have me confused with someone else lol

But he's not a starter on a championship contender. Extremely limited offensively and teams being able to do hack a Mitch

"Provided the Lakers address other needs on the wing and at the rim, defensive concerns about a Dončić-and-Reaves pairing are overstated, one team source said.

Reaves was also one of the most important voices inside the Lakers’ locker room a season ago, his leadership developing year over year."
