so presumably, we start back up like around October 1st, finish the last 20 regular season games (basically its an extended pre season and this is how the players will get into shape). go into playoffs and wrap up by Christmas/New Years eve. free agency is January 1st and start up the next season by February 1st - make it like a 50 game regular season and just let the playoffs go into very end of June. no all star break.

this would work - just need to handle the contract/free agency logistics.

If we can get this s*** under control by June I don’t see why they can’t just start playoffs then. The season wouldn’t even end that late in that case.

Might as well see how it plays out over the next month or so and go from there. Why even consider canceling at this point?
