Since we have a little bit of down time. We can reflect on 2020 playoff performance during the mid point of the championship run, and what upgrade

C- McGee/Dwight - both looked good against Portland but useless going against Houston. Could be Klutch in the next 2 series. Sucks that neither can post up or hit the 3 ball. I would welcome Dwight back on a 1year deal. I wouldn’t be mad bringing McGee back too, but I would shop him and Danny in the off-season.

F- Lebron, Davis, Morris, Kuzma- Bron and Davis have been playing like SUPERSTARS! The foundation of the this team. Morris has been a pleasant surprise. At first I thought he was just a guy taking up minutes, but has found his groove. Playing tough minded championship ball. Hitting the 3 ball and playing that key stretch 4/5 position. Amazing pickup. Kuzma stats aren’t all that, but the guy is playing winning basketball. He makes an instant impact when inserting into the game. He’s using his athletic ability for loose balls, defense, boards, getting a hoop when the team needs it. Sometimes player stats take a dip for winning basketball. Forwards are the strength of this team, they can play all over the lineups

SG: Danny, Caruso, THT- Danny 3 ball is coming around. He’s been solid on defense all post season too, in coming around to him. These two next series will be key for him. I think Caruso has found his niche. High energy combo guard off the bench. He does all the little things: loose balls, defense, boards, toughness, athletic ability, makes the smart play. I think he’s better suited as off ball guard so he can focus on other aspects to his game and not focused on setting the team up. His quickness gives 2 guards problems. When he hits his 3s it’s over. THT surprised me by getting a little run. Kid has a nice handle, and even hitting his 3s. He is only 19, and already transformed his body from that chubby teenager. He might be pushing for rotation by next season, still a little raw.

PG- KCP, Rondo- Bron is the real point guard of this team, but KCP has been guards points. He did a decent job on lillard after game 1. KCP is an underrated defender. I like how he can get hot with the 3 ball, and his athletic ability is nice. I like him better than Danny if we choose to put McGee/Danny on the trade block for a point guard. Rondo proved me wrong, I thought he was washed. Playoff Rondo came to life last series, and really made us unstoppable. If Rondo can keep it up, I don’t see us losing . Guy was playing good defense, taking control of the game on offense, creating offense bringing toughness, even hitting his 3s.

Guys who I want to get new deals: Morris, Dwight, Waiters(I think he can offer more)

Needs: PG, another big 3andD wing, another big who can play 3andD

Wonder if we can land a rotation player with the 1st round pick, or trade for a vet rotation player. Also have the MLE.
