Could...could this actually be a series where we play Javale...and get away with it?

Yes.... McGee just had two bad matchups

Houston- runs this crazy offense with no center. McGee couldnā€™t punish them in the paint so he was useless in that series

Denver- Joker just too strong for McGee. Joker is a huge man with a lot of mass. Mcgee is skinny and lacks strength. McGee was just bbq chicken for him... Dwight on the other hand had strength to make it tough for him.

Miami- Bam isnā€™t the banger Joker is, so that is good for McGee. Mcgee could be good for his energy both halves. Heat have a lot of slashers and like to play fast. So itā€™s important protect the paint at all times. Bam uses his athletic ability to get to his spots, and McGee is still athletic.

I donā€™t think Mcgee will be a difference maker but I think he could play a role in this series.

Randle still better then Mcgee. Would have been a useful player In the rotation off the bench...

For sure, he still averaged 19-10 this season. Hopefully he gets back on a winning team someday.

Edit: I shouldn't say back because I don't think he's been on one

I don't know how much he would help.

Sure his numbers are good, but they are inflated of course. Additionally, he doesn't play a lick of defense and REFUSES to learn how to use his right hand. He's the easiest scout in the league. He's going left every time.

Yeah thatā€™s been Randle problem. Heā€™s been the 1st scoring option on bad teams his entire career. Heā€™s a simply not good enough to be the man. Randle still thinks he can be a star, but I think he is more of a role player. He could thrive if he was in a role that let him just focus on rebounds/using his strength(strong as an ox)/pick and roll defense. I think he could be Montrez Harrell role if he ever landed on a good team.

Iā€™m one of the few who likes Kuzma... I think he can big this series... I hope he has a great series and he stays long term. I like Kuz

Ideally we bring the same team back. Just a couple minor moves

    • Flip Danny 1st rounder for Dennis Scroeder
    • maybe bring back Cousins or another ring chaser.
    • bring back Morris, Dwight, Waiters
    • ship Bradley for a 2nd rounder. We keep hitting on late picks, so letā€™s add another

We need to keep Bradley. It's clear how bad we miss him this playoffs (despite sweeping everyone). We need a dawg defender and he's it.

Danny is interesting. He's a legit threat from 3 despite not shooting so hot in the playoffs. The key is that he stretches the floor for us, which helps our spacing.

Not too many teams will have cap space this summer so we'll have to see if Cousins is interested. McGee has a player option and I imagine he may accept it.

Rondo will determine his future in the finals..

Reminder that Lonzo shot better from three this season than Danny Green.

If there is anything valuable about Green it is his ability to guard bigger wing players.

And he is definitely not worth 14million

  • Sep 29, 2020

Yeah we gotta bring Bradley back, we were doubling ball handlers past mid court because Frank wasn't totally confident that we had a defender who could match up with them 1-on-1. With AB we don't have that issue. And yeah I like the sound of bringing Morris, Dwight, and Waiters too since he didn't really get the opportunity to show if he can be a decent bench scoring option.

I feel like Rondo already proved himself.. dude is legit... unless he forgets how to play basketball for some reason in the finals... what more can you want from a backup PG. canā€™t even count on Bradley, what if there is another bubble. Trade Bradley and give THT room to grow...

    After my moves
    C: Mcgee, Dwight, Cousins
    F: AD, Morris
F: Lebron, Kuzma( would let Lebron ease on minutes during regular season)
    G: KCP, Caruso, THT
    G: Schroeder, Rondo, Waiters

Maybe add one more vet ring chaser, and add best player from a 2nd round pick. Danny not needed if we play KCP at SG, and keep Kuzma to match with the big athletic forwards.

Why would we trade Bradley? Especially for a 2nd rounder?

These playoffs have shown us 2 things so far. We def need another guard defender (Bradley) and another athletic wing defender who can spread the floor

  • But can we please focus on the finals for now and talk about the offseason after?

  • 4 more man 4

The only time either of those guys have beat him in the playoffs is when they had Steph, Klay and/or KD on their team

Was literally going to say this LMAO if they were so effective at stopping him why didnt they??
