It's been 10 years. 10...long...years...since we've been back here. Back home in the NBA Finals. But it's not enough to just be here, no, because then what was all of this for? We coming in here just for the "Welp, we had a nice run fellas" hell nah f*** that, the team came here to win this b****. There are players individually on this team that have a lot riding on the outcome of these Finals:

-Rajon Rondo, would be apart of the teams that brought the 17th championship to both the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers (would he be the only player to win one with both team?)
-Dwight Howard, he's a HOFer as it is but a ring erases all doubt and completes this tour of redemption he's been on for this franchise
-Anthony Davis, validates his trade request from New Orleans and re-establishes and reinforces his place amongst players in the league today, while building on his legacy all-time due to this spectacular playoff run
-LeBron James, self-explanatory. The likely Finals MVP should we win, and would be the first player in NBA history to have won Finals MVP for 3 different franchies

There's a lot at stake for the players and for us, the fans, we're just relieved to finally be back. But the job's not finished, So, to do our part, positive energy, positive vibes, send it all to the team and players and let's go with #17 for Kobe and Gianna.

Dear basketball gods please let this team make all its open shots, play lockdown defense ,play smart basketball and Vogel make smart decisions
    Amen

And if not all the shots at least a respectable amount, if not lockdown defense at least contest and force Miami into tough shots, and if not the highest IQ plays and coaching decisions then at least just not head scratchers

They love the fact that some people get outraged and talk about it lol

I’m not superstitious in the slightest but I’ve turned the volume on my TV up to 24 for every playoff game

    It’s worked so far
