As long as the minutes are staggered properly it’s whatever. But Dennis iniating the offense when LeBron is out is ideal. Wes Matthews does not provide that and wouldn’t be expected to in the starting lineup

I actually think it's fine having someone else initiate the offense at times.

Worked great when Rondo and Bron shared the court.

Dennis is also a good catch and shooter off the ball.

The thing that makes the most sense is Wes's defense is more valuable than Shroader's offense in the starting lineup

I totally agree they should play together in spurts but the coaches job is to get the most out of each player. Wes would be maximized in the starting lineup where his only responsibilities would be to defend & shoot threes.

Take him out with 4-5 minutes left in the quarter and Shroder comes in with some firepower. Of course Bron would benefit from playing with him at times but you could be taking away from other facets if you don’t play the right guys at the right time

Kind of sounds like Shroder expects to start though.
