In other words, Cook is on the roster yes. However, he's essentially just a placeholder. If they find someone who they want out there for the minimum who'd be a clear upgrade and not an issue with the team dynamic, Cook can be cut and replaced with no real penalty despite the team being up against the hard cap. On top of that, the team could still then add the 15th man to the roster during the buy-out market.

Savvy roster and cap management, not bad for someone who doesn't understand the salary cap.

Looked like Dennis was working with the 2nd unit in the clip the Lakers team account put out which is interesting, but that was just the first day

I could do these units, that’s fine. Bottom line is, we have talent and rotations that should lead us deep into the playoffs again.

Also at the end of the day, it really only matter who finishes the games, not who starts. It’s the NBA, you could be down 35-12 in the 1st and come back and win. I love this league

The part about closing > starting lineups is important because Dennis is clearly closing games for us lol. Along with Bron and AD then the last two spots can be based off who the hot hand is at the time since we could have KCP, Caruso, Kieff, etc. feeling it on a giving night
