This is straight up embarrassing. How many open looks has Aldridge got tonight? Not only him, the Spurs havenāt shot a single contested 3 pointer tonight.

Answer to my question in the title:
No!
I may be overreacting but this is the worst L of the season so far. Just lazy play after lazy play. I know weāre not even 10 games in and I donāt want to make a big deal out of this, but I donāt like our body language on the floor

Itās hard to have the energy during the regular season when trying to repeat especially against teams like the Spurs, not to mention on a historic short off season. It is what it is, this will probably be the case throughout the season. Weāll be fine, too talented and well coached. Weāll get the 1 or 2 seed even while coasting, only thing that matters is being healthy when the playoffs start.

itās even harder having any motivation to really try against a team you JUST beat twice already

yeah, i'm not trippin at all over this loss. the bounce back will come tomorrow
THT was ballhogging all preseason because he knew that was the time to run up his points
And as soon as the regular season starts he seamlessly transitions to picking his spots perfectly within the offense, while executing the plays that are ran for him, and making accurate passes when necessary
AND defensively solid

YUP
He still makes the usual 1st-2nd year mistakes but you can see he gets frustrated with himself when that happens and I think itās safe to say heās motivated to fix those mistakes immediately. Honestly, since game 1 of the regular season to now I can see him being able to choose when he thinks he needs to score or when he needs to create for others, seems like a quick learner. Pair that with his talent level and potential...
