I didn't say anything about an all star but I do think Javale is adding more in Cleveland than GA Gasol is adding here. I also think we could use another big and I think his length is useful. I also think last year we didn't play him due to scheme and personnel, not because he has no use

Javale is dumb as bricks and doesn’t spread the floor the way Gasol does. And although Gasol is slow footed he is still a better defensive player than Javale is

Also, on nights where Marc struggles we just throw in Montrezl or play AD at the 5 down the stretch. It’s not a huge concern

Not to mention we can actually run offense through Marc. You couldn’t dream of doing that with Javale

I’m still okay with the Marc signing he has to play some part with us being #1 in defense right now

Of course he does, he’s still a good post defender just because he ain’t doing leaping blocks and s*** lol

His game is positioning, not athleticism. Even then it’s not like Javale was a plus for us even with his clear advantage in athleticism
