High seed = home court

It means home court as well as you playing an easier playoff schedule. Playing against the 1 seed in the first round and playing against the 8 seed in the first round makes a world of difference, for example (even playing the 8 seed versus playing the 5 or 4 seed).

But anyway you don't gotta defend that nigga. I wasn't even talking to him in the post he quoted and he did not read back, so he wasn't aware of what I was speaking on. It's all good.

Lakers could drop to the 7-8th seed because AD is out and if he came back healthy along with the rest of the team for the playoffs, I’d be just as confident that we’re going to the Finals as if they were the 1 seed.

Well considering how AD has been playing his year, I hope we don't drop to 7-8 because he's missing. But that would reveal some major holes in that hypothetical situation.

Everyone here is confident in the Lakers, obviously. But like I said in my posts, I was just responding to the importance of a high seed. I'm not challenging your confidence at all, or saying AD needs to play right now.
