At the end of the day Lakers took a shot with Marc, hoping playing on a stack team could bring back the fountain of youth. Rob was hoping he was more of the player in 2019 and not the player he was the last year in Toronto. He played like the 2020 version, which isn’t surprising given his age. We hoped he could space the floor but he is no threat averaging under 5 a game. That isn’t going to cut it against Brooklyn. He just had too many flaws in his games to be a starter: No shot block presence in the paint, doesn’t rebound, doesn’t even score.

I think he should still get minutes until AD gets back. I do think he will lose a spot in the rotation once the bench minutes tighten up around the playoffs( same for Wes). I think Marc could get some spot minutes against Jokic, Embiid, Alridge if they run into them in the playoffs. He is a another big body we could throw on centers. Marc was given a shot to start, and he really didn’t do much. That’s not being a bully by saying that
