Gay would have been Cool because he is a good starting SF. He would have allowed us to play more AD and LeBron 5/4 minutes which is prolly their best spots. Ariza isn’t as good as Gay.

I had some fairly high hopes for him and he was just an atrociously bad basketball player. Happy that Marc will have a more defined role and Dwight can come in off the bench to provide some toughness

No way Gasol can start. He is a year older, and everyone knows he is no threat to protect the basket…

Gasol is at best a backup center who can actually do a little playmaking on offense and space the floor. Backup guards can’t expose him as the slow big man he is.

Gasol was just fine in the role he had prior to us picking up Drummond. Of course he’s older and slower footed but he’s good for the offense while stretching the floor and initiating the offense from the high post.

Dwight is more effective in spurts off the bench just like he did for us 2 seasons ago

I want us to sign a 3 center. If Dwight gets hurt, we are screwed again. We have to be smart with everyone move and have 15 deep. And older team has a higher probability for injuries

Gasol wasn’t getting the job done as a starting. Which is why we were desperate to sign a sign a center in that one guy from the Warriors then Drummond. We didn’t think twice about benching Gasol. Gasol actually looked a lot better as a backup towards the end of the season

All I ask is that he shoots more because he’s probably the second best shooter on the team rn
