Word, so they're deeper in than I thought right now that's on me for not checking the current bill and just going off the usual
You're right in that the THT package would be a better return but trades aren't just about assets, financial flexibility on both ends is useful and the Lakers don't have any and can't offer any
To me you should always value players/picks over tax but Portland didn't see it that way (this year is also going to have one of the biggest tax payouts to non tax teams on record, ten mil+ , because of all the teams that are over so that definitely influenced the Blazers and a lot of other teams making moves this year)
Clippers have way more of that than the Lakers because of Ballmer and that's why that trade/scenario isn't comparable imo
I think Rob gonna make a move, I have faith in my championship-winning GM

Can't say nothing to this, main reason I'm so critical is because I want to see great players playing well on good teams esp in the playoffs and I haven't been a fan of how the Lakers move for the most part in the Bron era so I hope your faith is answered 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

They're interested in Josh Richardson. Would have to be THT and a second round pick, definitely a way better fit and under contract for next season too.

Would be a good move
Don't surrender that first and bring in a player that actually fits well
Richardson quietly been having a bounce back year after a few down seasons and Bron should help him be even better
Sounds like we’re saving the 1st round picks for the off-season if we want to move Russ
I’m just expecting depth moves and a buy out guy or 2. Sure would be nice if Russ figured stuff out :word:

they are not attaching that pick just to move russ especially since it'll be his last season

WB 2 firsts and 2 seconds, we can trade our 2029 this summer.
Thats a good deal for a rebuilding team.

Any trade for an all-star with Westbrook as the center piece isn't happening, but manifest it my brother
“Dame to the Lakers” is trending on twitter lmao. all these people gonna be real disappointed when we end up with Terrence Ross

dame doesn't even fix our issues of undersized, bad defence, iso
WE WANT JERAMI

we aren’t getting him but i promise those issues would look a whole lot less significant with Damian Lillard next to AD and Bron lol
