Only team desperate for a star is the Knicks. They get an expiring and trade off randle who has beef with management

we are stuck with russ or we're buying him out

no one is trading for him unless we give up an asset, and we're better off not.

russ for Randle and Fournier makes sense for both parties. I heard MJ interesting in Westbrook too

  • Apr 12, 2022

I’m sure Shanghai would be thrilled to have Russ

There’s not a lot of options and beggars can’t be choosers.. as long as he doesn’t have horrible lineups and rotations like Vogel then I’ll take it. Put adequate assistants around him like Gentry.

Brogdon and Heild contracts pretty bad but at least they could fit next to lebron and AD

For sure on that first part but even out of those limited options, Jackson would be terrible

It really goes under the radar but he was terrible for the pre Kerr Warriors

Dude was alienating/freezing out members of his coaching staff and the FO and even one of the long time announcers

Was actively divisive in the locker room and tried to get the other players to go against Elezi to the point that he broke down

I've seen Joerger's name floated and he's actually a great coach but I'm not sure how he is health wise (just had a comeback from a bad battle with cancer)

Also I get why Vogel had to go and he for sure wasn't at his best this year/made mistakes but a lot of those terrible rotations came from bad roster construction

I'm assuming that Westbrook Nunn Reaves Bron AD and Stanley (that quote about Pelinka and Rambis though ) are all back next year

How would you rank the roster needs and do you have any ideas of who you'd go after? Legit been thinking about this on and off all morning

youth, we need young two-way players and a coach that will actually play them. front office is going to need to utilize the g league and undrafted players

on a sidenote: if a healthy ad and lebron could drag vogel to winning a championship then a healthy ad and lebron can for damn sure drag mark jackson to the finals too or at least contender status

Wish Lakers still had Ryan West, man cooked finding overlooked gems

I know this year got a sour taste on everything but Vogel was a big part of that championship run. He's a legitimately great defensive coach and Bron/AD gave him a lot of credit for giving the team an identity on that front that was strong enough to be their foundation. Kept the team afloat last year too even though Bron and AD missed a lot of time together but the roster made a lot more sense then.

Lakers get Jackson and he's dragging this team back to hell. Considering all the asset/roster limitations, the team has to be a plus in other areas (ie organizationally, coaching, health) to make up the difference

He’s mentioned in every lakers opening and he’s never been hired.

    It’s not happening

Officially would be rock bottom. At that point the Buss family need to sell the team to Elon Musk

"The idea of moving Hayward's $30 million salary and additional contracts—such as Kelly Oubre or Mason Plumlee and a third, smaller deal—to Los Angeles for Russell Westbrook's expiring contract has taken hold among league executives, as first reported by Marc Stein. Westbrook would be owed $47 million in 2022-23 if he picks up his player option, which would create significant financial flexibility for the Hornets in the summer of 2023."

    will
Daruis Garland, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and two future first for Anthony Davis go down as one of the worst trades of all time?

Ingram has closed the gap with AD. which isn't much at this point. Garland has developed into a star. We also just kicked DLO to the curb for peanuts
