For the minimum would anyone be mad at Lamarcus Alridge? I know he’s older but he would be a backup 5 on a contender. He is a stretch 5 who can still create offense, and actually protects the paint. At the minimum he would be a steal

naw... these moves were calculated.. Here's my break down on what this organization was thinking with the moves. Our team was just too old last year. We played so slow, no fast break.

Thoughts:
Damian Jones- had a good year last year. he is good on defense, athletic, protects the paint, can even was hitting 3s last year. He is a young version of Mcgee from the 2022 title team. Last year we lacked centers

Lonnie Walker IV- alot of Spur fans think he is going break out. He is an A plus athlete, who could develop as defender. he can shoot, and has 7 foot wingspan to improve on defense. The game will be easier for him playing with stars

Troy Brown- former lottery pick, who just hitting his prime. Flashed as a Wizard, lost in the rotation for a playoff team. he is a swingman who can play 3/2. he has skills, great wingspan, and can shoot. Last year we were playing guys like Trevor Ariza at 38 lol. we needed to get more athletic in the wings

JTA- we needed more defense from the forward spot. JTA is steal for the minimum. He can shoot the 3 and is a good defender at either forward spot. He's another really athletic guy.

Look around the league. The good teams surround their stars with big wings, athletic centers who can guard pick and roll. Can't forget shooting and Walker and Brown jumper isn't broke. Jones is a turning into a stretch 5 and JTA can hit the 3ball.
