Good move for them. Their gm is good, always making those sneaky solid moves. JJ reminds me of a bigger Stanley. Big defensive wing with a better jumper. Never lived up to the hype of being a star or draft status, but could be a useful Role player if JJ learns to play smart

Still have room for 2-3 guys since we can cut Gabriel in camp, and new roster spot with the trade. I actually think we could use another big athletic defensive forward to replace Stanley. You know Lebron is going rest some games. I would welcome Dennis S back too.

My two signings would be

Melo - we could use his shooting. He actually played with a lot of heart and wasn’t as bad on defense. I think Melo could be good off the bench and surrounded by young athletic players. We are alot younger, so he would be good. Surrounded by old guys, makes Melo look older

Dennis S- let Dennis compete with Nunn for minutes. I think Dennis is humbled and would be a great 6th man. He would really increase his stock if he balled out on the Lakers. Lakers always get overhyped by other teams, no one cares what you do on the Rockets when it’s time to get paid. His last stint ended so ugly, he could reverse the narrative playing winning ball and as a team player.
