Sorry vos, but Salvadoran niggas always out here creepin and hatin. Bad representation
And like @Janet_ said earlier about Hondurans talkin s*** bout Mexicans, thatβs what the Salvadorans do out here except they talk s*** about everyone, well the Salvadorans that just got here from over there, I havenβt met many 1st generation Salvadorans those just be chillin lol
@figarooooo damm that s***s wild cuz it sounds more like its something going on in your head, instead of it being other Mexicans tellin you you aint Mexican enough
You ever been to Mexico?
One parent white the other Mexican?
I'm full blood Hispanic and I speak English so properly, people will often question my heritage and if my name is my real name
Of course, it doesn't help I'm whiter than even most white people.
I can speak Spanish pretty well still too, as I went to a bilingual Elementary and I retained a lot of it. I probably got an accent tho unless I speak slowly.
I pretty much just ignore my identity crisis tho. I've found people will rock with you regardless as long as you're cool. I do show extra compassion for my fellow Latinos, even if they do like to call me gringo
Edit: dammit I thought I quoted that 1 dude.

yeah it's definitely an internal thing, all my mexican friends and s*** are all cool with it and don't try to police me on claiming to be mexican and s***
haven't been able to go yet cause all my family came over and my dad (my mexican parent) never wanted us to go or anything growing up
both my sisters have been recently and they loved it so it's definitely something i wanna do, even if its just like a weekend in TJ. will probably just reinforce my whiteness tho

yeah i deleted my original post i felt weird about opening up like that lmao
but yeah my dad is mexican and my mom is white, and i have a white last name cause my dad has his white stepdad's last name
this s*** is all internal cause you're right about people being cool with it, it isn't like i'm logic screaming that i'm biracial every two seconds
i generally ignore this but sometimes i just kinda feel like i've been doing stuff wrong for some reason
