F***ing “The Chronic” Dr Dre production on Temporary Insanity would’ve literally replaced The Chronic if Fre on Death Row never happened. T.I. might’ve been more ambitious that The Chronic, which is crazy to say.

This. Plus as good as The Chronic is Eazy E just has this superstar persona that would take it over the top.

He has one of the best images / backstories in rap

Eazy low-key rarely missed. He has so many good records. Every project of his contained at least a few 10/10 songs. Even the songs where he's just messing around like "Gimme That Nutt" are amazing and ooze charisma/superstar status. I have a hard time deciding which is my favorite Eazy project between Eazy Duz It and Its On. But love Str8, too. Think all his post NWA projects are super underrated

Damn I might have to go back and listen to them NWA projects man lmao they went so crazy.

Wish we would’ve gotten Eazy over chronic era Dre beats

It’s crazy how Neighborhood Sniper is easily by far,Eazys most epic cut. That song just lets you know that T.I. was meant to catapult Eazy into rockstar status.

That beat and hook are so f***ing epic. That "pow pow had to murda dem" and all those jamaican chants during the song are so good when I heard NS for the first time they sounded like something familiar lol like "oh I've heard this before, this is famous right?" one of those hooks/melodies thats just incredibly unique. Hard to even imagine how it would've sounded with Dre production

Been listening to a lot of E and 90s s*** lately(can you tell? ) and i'm blown away by the "It's On.." EP. I mean these songs are f***ing amazing. Amazing hooks, amazing beats, amazing flows. Eazy's delivery and confidence in his rapping just shines through on his later projects. Even the new version of "Boyz N Da Hood" his delivery is much more confident than the original.

Fr I know E didn't invent the horrorcore genre but nobody made it sound as enjoyable as Eazy imo. Could hop on an R&B beat talking about killing people and still sounded amazing and something about him made you kind of believe what he was saying too

Ren too. NWA in general just made that s*** cool. To the point gangsta rap became the dominant force in the genre for like a decade+. True pioneers

The D.O.C. really got f***ed lol

I think he's just a regular dude now and he was a classic rapper affiliated with N.W.A and arguably a classic album (No One Can Do It Better) and he's pretty much unknown now

  • May 19, 2021

What the f*** is this s***? Seriously who thought it was a good idea to give D.O.C. a second chance in the rap game after his car accident? His voice is all f***ed up and he sounds totally awful. There's simply nothing of the old D.O.C. to be found here except some lame cover songs of his old classics. The production is provided by by Erotic D and it is rather average west coast beats, very generic and doesn't have much on all the other albums... But really what makes this album so awful is D.O.C. himself, his voice is just so annoying and he obviously shouldn't rap in this condition... It's impossible for him to have any flow which removes all the cleverness he had before, and his lyrical content is also very poor. On top of all these bad things, the album is also way too long clocking at 69 minutes, this joke would have been better at 40 minutes but apparently The D.O.C. had much to say. This s*** is clearly tarnishing his legacy, his performance on this album is a strong contender for worst of all-time. It's so bad that I would actually recommend it just to laugh at it.

Lol at this Helter Skelter review from RYM
