Lost dad a few weeks ago from covid.. he was in the ICU for almost a month. lost my mom 5 years earlier to cancer. im 24. I cant help but feel really alone even though i have lots of family and friends supporting me.

has anyone else experienced this at such a young age? How did you handle such a loss?

Lost my father in 2008, moms november 2020. 24 now aswell. I dont have any family where I live, just my gf and younger sister. Relationship with sister went to s*** a little after our mother died. Living with my GF now, tryna make the best out of my time left here on earth. Still facing the pain daily but it does get easier with time or at least you will be able to cope with it. Kinda crazy my moms wont see me graduate, get married, have kids etc. Girlfriends parents old so our kids will grow up with no grandparents too

I lost one parent at 11 and it was hard enough. You will make them proud.

Lost four people throughout the last year. Two to suicide, one to violence & another to covid.

Hope you get through it op. The pain may never fully heal, but you can still keep going while keeping their memory & energy alive.
