the production on Love Vs Money makes it sound a bit more dated even though Love /Hate is older would have been recorded in 2006-2007

maybe I'm hating

both have great songs

but Love / Hate is more listenable and imo more pure R&B

Love Vs Money has some songs that sound like he was reaching for a smash in 2009

and those songs are still GOOD

but not the same level
