Influences: Hip Hop, Jack music, Dance, Bounce

Stepping Stones: Eastside L Boog, Munch Lauren, and Bankhead

Origins: Early 2010s East Side of Milwaukee

Defined by rhythms driven by a steady 1/8th note digital handclaps, rattling bass, fast tempos, upbeat sound, and laid-back flows. Lowend songs are tend to be short and rarely last over two minutes.

The genre was named after Lowends. A part of East Milwaukee where the street numbers are the lower ones on the city's grid system

Pioneered by Milwaukee East Side artists such as Munch Lauren and Bankhead. The movement took inspiration from the local Jack music, courtesy of Eastside L Boog. Which in turn, was inspired by NOLA Bounce music.

Topics are often humorous, usually including dancing, speeding cars, and fukkery. It has spread to other parts of the Midwest, notably Detroit(Baby Tron)and certain Eastern locations (Duwap Kaine)

You're absolutely right. That's what it is basically but they do have their own twist with it.

Really cool to see Detroit and Milwaukee becoming the gamechangers they are, especially in regards to Hip Hop sonic trends.
