They've been linked up for a while I think, you're probably bound to meet if you're both Black experimentalists in Brooklyn lol. They're also cool with Dreamcrusher. Actually first learned of her because of a show she did together with Slauson a couple years ago

what would you call it? Soul does seem to me to be the most dominant influence, but also def more Neo than classic soul.

A lot of this defies genre labelling though for sure
