yots doesnt make much sense to me as an album compared to their others. Obviously there are some motifs and the whole thing is connected through the lo-fi formant-y sound. But i cant see the holistic album intention compared to others like jenny death which i feel i 95% understand. Like what is zach talking about in little richard with the weapons in the horn section and such. It's much harder to decode than their others. I get the whole linda kasabian's 69th bday joke but its still not quite there for me. Idk how much ice zach was smoking lmao. I still really like it though, it's my 4th most listened to of their albums. Almost all of the songs f***ing slap imo so whatevs.
