Tbh I feel like it was ever so slightly mismarketed. Feel like they decided to bank on Luca's pre-installed fanbase and portray it as way more inherently sexual, rather than focusing on the sports/tension/romance angle which is more than the majority of the film.

I mean s***, everybody's laughing at the movie a little bit, comparing it to the Whale because they only used that one press photo of them on the bed

Yeah 3 watches deep this is an actual classic. One of the best films in years

what a beautiful film, at the end of the day to me it was about passion…what in this world drives us and keeps us alive, truly alive? loved how the multiple flashbacks kept increasing the stakes of the final match every time we returned to the present day. they were able to create such fully fledged characters, people who you can truly understand after only seeing them for a couple hours which was an incredible feat. definitely a special movie and I need to watch asap, until then that soundtrack is gonna bang
