soundtrack is indeed mostly great and full of gems, these two in particular

but then that Francesca Scorsese song and that f***ing Aaron Carter track are wayyy on the nose and the latter sounds just straight up horrible jfk, that might be Luca's first serious L in terms of soundtracks

So this show is worth starting?

if you like CMBYN 100%, nails a very similar vibe. Generally worth a shot tho as a v beautifully shot coming-of-age story which gives insight into growing up in a time where you have more complex possibilities to express your sexuality (tho it's still very much a source of conflict). The setting is also really unique

Also very cool music and sound design imo

he only made films before this

CMBYN and Suspiria are both great (one a bona-fide instant classic, the latter very weird, slightly pretentious but very creative horror) and have two of my favorite film soundtracks of the past decade tbh. CMBYN plays incredibly well as an album even though it's a various artist comp

Let Yourself Go and that sound design on Notte Transfigurata

Def enjoy the very piano-driven direction, that's def Luca's trademark instrument at this point tbh. Dev is damn good at it too

Would be hilariously unsubtle foreshadowing if he ends up doing that lol kinda doubt it but in
