Kid is mad goofy but I’m warming up to his rebellious attitude, minus all that mom abuse of course

ngl thats the only thing taking me out of it. his anger and abuse towards his mom.

the whole fashion thing is really forced imo doesn’t really come off as authentic

almost stopped watching when the kid was like “do you know raf simons? You’re a genius!” to the old lady who was like fixing army pants lol

It’s cool to see vintage cdg and s*** like that in a tv show but the character makes it corny

Same. This was the ep that solidified it for me.

That kid is a f***in brat i wanna rock him thru the screen and he corny af. but i cut him some slack cause he kinda likable somehow. Like u can tell the nigga just pretentious, confused and angry like a pre teen coming into his/her sexuality would be. Esp in that environment.

bro going way too hard. and the way he treats his moms is absolute insanity lmfao.

But man, luca’s direction is straight up godly. the whole dreamy aspect of everything is just down to the weird writing and the way they frame the shots. Esp the last episode when it was freeze framing on the shoes n s*** at the pool. sold me on the show right there

    those shots were class fr

I fw the fact that Luca is so accommodating to the actors' ideas too; makes for some really dope natural moments/reactions during the show.

at least his mom was off the hook this episode 😅
the upcoming eps are gonna be wild for Cate though

Oh maan ep 4 was a trip. One of the best episodes ever on tv. On life

Yeah the rest of the eps prob gonna be sad as f***

And damn i wonder what the actors ideas are.u right there is a subtle natural tone beneath the dreamy aura of this show. I like how it doesnt go too over the top with its cinematography. Luca just has one of the GOAT styles when hes in a bright, colorful setting

this whole inside the episode thing HBO does is p good and insightful. peep 1:50 to hear how Grazer's ideas contributed to the ep

Luca in Italy always makes for a nice visual tour of the place, he likes finding hidden spots too 😅

She's not my fav character but I really enjoy her presence tbh, she kind of ties the group together. So that's def an achievement I guess

I hope Grazer wasn't really drunk but also if he was not that was some really impressive acting drunk lol really funny too, cracked me up multiple times
