and the pushing the piano with Kendrick playing
I think XXX was perfect for that scene, he had those lose your mind songs.

tippyif they do decide to move forward with a S2, and that’s a big if, then I suspect Luca won’t be as hands on with a second season. at most he might write/direct a couple episodes.
Yeah tbh Luca got so many projects lined up, don't think it'll happen any time soon. And I'm really not sure I even want to see anyone else directing this story, Luca's style is such an integral part of this

Danny doing wudu was like him cleansing his soul and putting it at peace after the chaotic day, pretty powerful ending with that “godlike” camera view pulling back and seeing the entire base. Direction has been superb.

Will say that I hope this remains a limited series, something about going back and remembering that time you were on a military base, fell in love, made best friends and discovered yourself as a little slice of your life is so much more powerful imo
