So far Grazer is def very similar to Timmy in CMBYN, Luca really setting a trademark dgaf swagger with these characters. At times found it a bit weird tbh because he almost seemed like a Timmy stand-in but then again I guess it's just the way Luca directs his actors to jump around and be random. Also rly love that tho, just some unsorted thoughts
the atmosphere Luca creates is unmatched
just like CMBYN, I don’t identify with these characters storylines specifically, but the raw emotion and feelings he’s able to channel is so f***ing relatable
Wait how old these kids supposed to be? Thought Harper was at least late teens til she had her first period. Didn’t realize cudi was her dad til way later than I probably should have. And what’s up with the maga hats? Man I don’t know what this show is but I like it for some reason.
sooo was she a boy who transitioned into a girl or is she slowly transitioning into a boy
Wtf who you even talmbout

lol Grazer actually played a young Timmy in My Beautiful Boy already thought that was surprisingly convincing in that film lol. And I read in an interview that of course CMBYN was what inspired him to work with Luca (no surprise that tho)
I like the way Luca executed that second episode chef kiss
Also the Scorsese kid is not bad at acting
Wonder if there's some secret plot to get Ye to watch this lmao

Lmao Ye def watching this for Cudi, rly curious how that plot'll go and whether Ye will react on twitter
that shot with the MAGA hats in the mirror where Harper's hat just doesn't fit was also a pretty brilliant metaphor

they're supposed to be 14 and up. the timeline is from 2016, so that's why you see trump and maga hats.
Two for two on episodes so far
Harper having her first yet she looks like 18 lol
tbf apparently it's not considered unnatural for some girls to only get their first period with 16 (looked this up). I think she's supposed to be 14/15, with some suspension of disbelief I can buy that she's just a mature-looking young teen tbh
Just realized CMBYN title sequence and WRWWR opening sound so similar because it's both music by the same composer, John Adams apparently there's many of his compositions all over Guadagnino's films, in I Am Love it's even exclusively Adams music. Again all over this so far as well, guess that's that "Guadagnino sound" now

No wonder “Hallelujah Junction” from CMBYN sounded familiar

just read this interview, he talks a bit on Adams right at the beginning.

America 2nd!
man all these family dynamics are so beyond f***ed also yeah Fraser is 200% a 14y/o alcoholic, bruh... honestly in this episode I thought the conflicts are getting a bit over the top even, but I'm still absolutely in love with the whole vibe and I still really like the characters
