Usa having life without a parole even as an option is barbaric. in canada you get a chance at parole after 25 years pretty much no matter what. a life sentence is 25 years. if after 25 years youre still off your nutter, you COULD stay in prison for life, but thats up to the parole board. the usa handing out like 70 or 200 years is jokes
